Director Covington has been a resident of Beaumont and Cherry Valley for over 40 years, raising her children and grandchildren here. 

She retired from the Park District as the Human Resources Administrator and Clerk of the Board. She also held positions in finance and management, which provided her the background and experience needed to fulfill the duties required as a director. 

Director Covington said that being a director provides her the opportunity to help expand affordable recreational opportunities for children, adults, the disabled, and our senior citizens. She plans to confidently work on setting goals, formulating and following policies, and establishing programs. She expects transparency and fiscal accountability to ensure taxpayer dollars are handled responsibly. 

She hopes to contribute her time, efforts, and knowledge to help make countless memories for our families.
