MISSION STATEMENT
To organize, promote, conduct and advertise recreation programs for the community; establishing systems of recreation centers, including parks and parkways; acquire, construct, improve, maintain and operate recreation centers within or outside of the territorial limits of the public authority (Recreation and Park District), and cooperate with governmental agencies and contract with them to accomplish these goals.
